This Academy is built to help young girls and women strive to be great and to provide guidance for the ultimate pitching performance. Inside the academy you will receive individualized coaching from Shelby and have the opportunity to gain support from others who love the game of softball. Shelby’s main goal is to guide you in the right direction, dream big and believe in yourself – both on and off the field.

I have been pitching with Shelby for about a year. Since I began working with Shelby, I have developed my change up that I can consistently throw for strike. I have gained more spin, movement and velocity with my pitches just by making minor adjustments. Shelby listens and connects with her clients needs regardless of their age or level.

After being stuck at the same speed for a year, Shelby helped me increase my speed with skill development and leg drive work. She helped me develop my own pitching style and raise my overall pitching IQ. Not only did she help me develop more speed, spin and movement, she coached me to have a pitcher's mindset and a self confidence I never knew I had.

Shelby is enthusiastic and personable, while keeping lessons down to business and fun! She is genuinely invested in the growth of her clients and delights in their success. Aside from teaching our daughter mechanics, she continues to be someone who inspires our daughter in life. She has taught our daughter (by example) many wonderful things about goals and work ethic.

Shelby teaches proper pitching mechanics, cares about my success and always pushed me to be better. When I started with Shelby I had an injury from pitching due to bad mechanics. She immediately helped me identify the issue and we turned things around very quickly. I recently committed to West Texas A&M to play softball, a dream school of mine, and without Shelby’s help I would have never been able to achieve this goal.

VIRTUAL LESSONS

Join my online Shelby Babcock Pitching Academy to receive individualized, one-on-one, virtual lessons. Through video analysis and customized drills, Shelby creates personalized workouts every week tailored to a pitcher’s specific goals. The Academy is personable and flexible – even when on the go!

In-Person LESSONS + CLINICS

In-person lessons are fully booked. Your best option is to start the academy and work you way into personal lessons as they become available. Additional information on upcoming camps, clinics, and events will be shared here.
