Shelby accepted a full ride scholarship to the University of Arizona, 2010-2014. She pitched for the Wildcats for 4 years followed by coaching for an additional 2 years. BEARDOWN!

Shelby pitched for Legacy High School out of Broomfield, Colorado. She lead her team to win 3 5A State Championships.

Shelby J. Babcock is a Colorado native and graduate of Legacy High School. She is known as one of the most decorated pitchers to come out of Colorado. Shelby went to play softball and continue her education at the University of Arizona. After graduating and playing for the Wildcats, Shelby helped coach for 2 following years at the University of Arizona. She has since moved back to Colorado where she has continued her coaching career as private pitching instructor for the last 4 years. Shelby has successfully coached multiple pitchers to obtain college scholarships.
